Coastal Combatives Inc. is the premier leader in combatives and controlled tactics instruction. We have a long standing history both as a contractor and in government service with the Department of Defense. We were the first and remain one a few contractors world wide that is fully supported by the U.S. Army’s Combatives School to instruct and certify Soldiers in the Modern Army Combatives Program (MACP). In 2005 Coastal Combatives Inc. successfully conducted pre-deployment combatives training to 4,200 Soldiers of the 48th BCT to prepare them for Operation Iraqi Freedom. This past performance was the largest combatives training contract to date since the inception of the MACP. Just recently Coastal Combatives Inc. President and Head Instructor Garth Spendiff was invited to assist in the coaching of the 3ID Combative Team which successfully participated in the 2008 All Army Combatives Tournament. Coastal Combatives is the current contracted program of record for the 3rd Infantry Division (Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield).
